About the World Bank Group Young Professionals Program (YPP) 2027.

The WBG YPP is designed for early-career professionals with strong technical skills and leadership potential. Participants work across the World Bank Group and gain experience in different functions and locations.

The program includes three mandatory eight-month rotations. These provide experience in the participant’s primary function, a cross-institutional area, and a country office. This structure gives Young Professionals practical exposure to development work beyond headquarters.

After successfully completing the initial two-year program, participants can move into a five-year appointment, subject to performance and the program’s applicable conditions.
